OUR PURPOSE

The purpose of the congregation shall be to seek the honor and the glory of God, to carry out His will, to manifest the unity of our faith in Jesus Christ as God and Savior, to spread the Kingdom of God, and to foster Christian fellowship and love, by the preaching of the Word of God, by the administration of the Sacraments, and by the religious instruction of all its members, according to the confessional standard of the Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod.

DUAL PARISH

We share a dual parish partnership with Holy Trinity Lutheran Church of Blackduck,  Minnesota. Their Sunday Worship Services are held at 4pm.

The man answered, "Love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your strength, and with all your mind; and Love your neighbor as you love yourself.' "
Luke10:27

Pastor James T. Sorensen

OUR MISSION FIELD

Our mission money gifts are sent to Haiti as well as to support our North District of the Lutheran Church - Missouri Synod.

We support Lutherans For Life.  We will have a Lutherans For Life booth at the Beltrami County Fair in August.

Mission gifts are sent to a local Lutheran School near Cass Lake, Minnesota and to the Orphan Grain Train.

We also give to our local food shelf and the Walker Area Pregnancy Support Center.

LWML

Lutheran Women's Missionary League is an active volunteer program at Immanuel Lutheran Church that helps women of LCMS find avenues to use their God given talents to share the good news of Jesus with people both far and near.

The women Of LWML sponsor seminary students and support Immanuel Lutheran Church and other churches that may have needs.  A quilting group met in the past for relief work.  Bible study and prayer are also important with LWML.
